Like most DIY projects, this is taking longer than we thought. We have been working late most nights in an effort to get this mudroom locker done! We have been adding to our Instagram stories as we go, so follow us on Instagram if you are not already. There have been a few challenges with this project – mainly stemming from the fact that the space/inset where we installed these was not level and not square. This was also our first time building a bench-top using wood planks, glue, and pressure. We have used some new tools and new building methods (cabinet construction), which we will highlight in a future post. Below you will find some progress pictures of where we are today with this mudroom locker project – we have the bench and lockers installed and are now working to install the header (with light receptacles), crown molding, and finish molding on the back of the bench. Then prime, paint, and install the lights and hardware!
